Instrument Rentals
Renting an instrument if a must for orchestra! There are many options of stores you can rent from. Since middle school is a time of growth and learning, we strongly recommend renting your students instrument instead of buying. Your students physical growth will be exponential from 6th to 8th grade, and they will need to change the size of their instrument accordingly. Rental programs will trade in smaller instruments for bigger as needed, but you do not have this option if you purchase. I always recommend waiting until 8th grade or even high school before purchasing an instrument to ensure your students interest in music and their growth spurts have slowed down.
If your student is beginning orchestra this year, we recommend waiting a couple of weeks before renting so we can ensure your student knows which instrument is the best choice for them!

**We STRONGLY discourage renting or buying instruments online as instrument quality is often poor. These instruments often break, of become impossible to tune and maintain. Always check with Mrs. Paul-Nally before proceeding with online purchasing of instruments. Stringed instruments are made of wood, and should be the color of wood. No painted instruments are permitted.**
