The Taylor Road Fiddle Group
The Taylor Road Fiddle Group is an extracurricular ensemble that meets before school on Fridays. Fiddlers focus on eclectic styles and extra music they may not have the opportunity to learn during regular orchestra class. They perform with the Chattahoochee High School fiddlers, as well as in the community. This group meets and practices diligently once a week in the morning.
Fiddle group is an audition only ensemble meant for students with at least one year of experience. If your student is starting 6th grade, but has been playing their instrument for at least one year or more, this is a great opportunity for them! Auditions are held in September, December, and April every year. Students are provided with a piece chosen by Ms. Paul-Nally that they must prepare. All auditions are submitted via video to Ms. Paul-Nally by the given due date, provided when excerpts are passed out.
If your student is interested in auditioning, please contact Mrs. Paul-Nally or Ms. Wilson!
